Weeds reported
Weed Reports were compiled from survey responses, and are available for all the
species below.
For each respondent, the reports include contact information, scope
of infestation, factors that encourage/discourage invasion, monitoring
methods, species/communities/habitats threatened, control methods and
their success rates, and general comments. We encourage managers to
network with each other to learn from each others experiences.
Disclaimer: Please note that this list should not be interpreted as an inclusive list of all wildland weeds. It is merely a list of those plants which were reported as weeds by a land manager of The Nature Conservancy. Most of these are non-native species, some are native that are invading because of other management practices (i.e. fire suppression).
