The listserve is expanding From: Barry Rice (bamrice(at)ucdavis.edu) The TNC weeds listserve has been in operation for more than eight months and we believe that it has been useful and is worth continuing. We are generally happy with its format and amount of traffic and find the postings to the listserve are generally concise, on-topic, and informative. Until now, the listserve has been open to only TNC staff but we have had many requests to allow others to participate. We have decided to open the list to others because our recent experience gives us confidence that we can handle the increased number of participants, and that they can contribute useful information without glutting us with messages. If you know of non-TNC land managers who may benefit from being on the listserve, please have them email me (Barry Rice, bamrice(at)ucdavis.edu), and I will sign them on. Don't worry--this will not mean your mailbox will be flooded with irrelevant material. We will continue to keep the listserve uncluttered and focused. |
